The Department of Human Services/Seniors and People with Disabilities contracts with each County to provide a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities, through local Community Developmental Disabilities Programs (CDDPs). The CDDP provides service coordination and serves as the "gateway" to developmental disability services. Advocates of Children That have Special Needs (ACTSN)--began out of a desire to bring grass-roots information, assistance, and support to families whose lives include a child with needs that are defined as non-typical or “special.”
Lake Oswego Special Education PTA (LOSEPTA)--organization made up of parents and educators of children with special needs in the Lake Oswego School District, Lake Oswego.
