Christy is a married mother of a 6 year old son and step-mother to an adult daughter. She became a passionate advocate for individuals and families experiencing developmental disabilities after her son was born and diagnosed with a developmental disability. Christy has served on various non-profit boards.  She is a graduate of Partners in Policymaking and currently is a Board Director for The Arc of Oregon. Christy has been working for FACT since 2007 coordinating programming and projects.
